Sailor Moon
Sailor Moon is probably one of the most influencial anime ever created and is the show that really got me into anime in the first place. I had watched the DiC dub in middle school and it was so far from any other animated show I've seen. Not just the art style but the fact that it carried a full story arc.If you haven't seen it, i'd recommend watching Sailor Moon: Crystal which does a fairly good job of telling the story but in far fewer episodes. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of the art style there but that'd be my only complaint.
