Here are some of my long standing interests
My current interests are

Sailor Moon
This is the first anime I really got into. I had seen others like some Dragonball, Speedracer, and Gotchaman before hand but Sailor Moon was significantly different. It's one of the first
shows I saw that had a major story arc and you could watch the characters grow over time. On top of that the artwork really stood out. Most of the artwork for American cartoons always
looked so bad.
Hunt: Showdown
This is probably one of my most recent major interests but I have about 4.5k hours in this game over the past 6ish years. This game has a different feel than most other FPS because it
takes place in the late 1800s and has a design that really fits that aesthetic. The gun play really benefits from this because it has older guns take a lot more time to shoot and reload
so the fights take a bit longer and each shot really feels like it matters. One extra thing I appreciate is that most of the DLC skins all fit with the aesthetic. Too many games do collabs
with other properties or just try too hard to make their characters look bad ass. In hunt most of the characters look like they've been living in that world.
Zero Player Game
Okay, this one is weird. It's a game concept I always come back to. It may sound like a clicker game but it's far from it. In this genre, you create a character and it's AI takes over and
plays the game for you. Sometimes you have some small ability to change what it can or cannot do. My current attempt at making a zero player game has gone pretty well. I'm adding a whole new
level of difficulty to creating it because I always want it work a bit like a multiplayer game too. You create a character, it does it's own thing but it can interact with other peoples
characters. So far I pretty much have the backend for it running but it has been running for over a year now I think. The screenshot below shows only the backend portion of the game.
The Adventures of Pete and Pete
This was such a great show from my childhood. It aired in 1992 and follows two brothers, both named Pete and follows a very exaggerated events of their lives. Over all the show really holds
up to the nostalgia. My wife who is watching this with me and for her it's the first time is also enjoying it. She noted that this is a great example of the unreliable narrator trope which
makes the show make a lot more sense. You are viewing the events through older Petes eyes or what he was told from little Pete.
Space Patrol Luluco
Space Patrol Luluco is a very short anime with only 13 episodes that are around 7 minutes long. It's fast paced and very spastic but it goes hard into it's humor. It's well worth a watch and
its ending song is awesome.
Civilization 7
This game has been a nice escape from much of the other gaming I've been doing considering I want a bit more of a single player experience. There's a lot of depth to this game but it takes some
time to find it and even more to understand it. It's definitely been nice getting better at the game but I can't recommend anyone get this unless its on sale.
